Devil's Claw "Edinorog" - Proboscidea louisianica = Martynia fragrans.
One-year-old. Height 60 cm. Diameter 5 cm.
An inconvenient plant with velvet dark-green leaves, decorated with bright pink large flowers, similar to gloxinium flowers, is martinia.
These parade-style flowers, swinging together, form a fun, bright field, and their rich and long-lasting blossom will easily decorate the clubs and slaves.
After sowing, in the open ground, the seeds are removed at the end of April to May, slightly stitching them up into the soil. They're coming in 15-18 days. Crops are cut at a distance between plants of 30-35 cm.
Care: prefers fertile, shaky soils, sunny location. In dry weather, plants are irrigated.
Flower: July to freeze.
Low one-year plants are considered good partners.
